Study Abroad Forum

Dominican University of CA is in the process of looking into most effective ways to improve the international climate of our campus. We want to help all DUC graduates become well rounded global citizens. We are looking for suggestions from students on ways to enhance services (academically and socially) to international and domestic students and to increase numbers of students to study abroad. Please help us with your ideas how to develop pre-study abroad and post-study abroad programs as well as a program designed to support students while they are overseas.

Important Internship Opportunities!!

Fireman's Fund Internship for Finance/Accounting Concentrations

Fireman's Fund will have several openings for summer interns to work in our Corporate Finance organization in Novato! College sophomores (class of 2012) and juniors (class of 2011) majoring in accounting, finance, economics, statistics or math with a minimum GPA 3.0 are encouraged to apply.

These are
paid internships for finance and accounting concentrations.
It starts in early- to mid-June and end in mid- to late-August.
It’s an excellent opportunity for a college student to gain experience with entry-level accounting and finance functions. Interns will also get see what corporate life is like at a company headquarters and be part of one of the largest and most prestigious insurers in the world.

Peer Advising is Month!


Reminding all students that it's time to start planning for next Fall.

If you are enrolled in BUS 1009, 2009, 3009, or 4009, advising will be part of your class, so you will not need to attend a Peer Advising Session.

For all other students Peer Advising will be held in Library 222 on:
Monday, March 29 11:30am – 1:30pm and Thursday, April 8 11:30am – 1:30pm

Accounting Concentrations - If you are a student interested in Accounting ot have already declared Accounting, please sign up for advsing with Liz Capener in Bertrand Hall, room 26.
To help you create your schedule, stop by Bertrand 26 to pick up your individual degree audit form. Please bring this and a preliminary schedule to peer advising.
